Two years after his full-length album ‘::BLUE::’, Danny Daze returns with a 21-track remix album featuring reinterpretations from across the electronic spectrum. The release is planned for November 20th, 2025, via Omnidisc.
The project reframes the hypnotic core of the original LP, expanding its reach through a global cast of contributors. With nearly three decades of multi-genre exploration behind him, Daze invites a new wave of producers to reshape his sonic universe.
Built on his Miami electro and IDM foundations, the album connects Omnidisc staples Vril and Ruxpin with fresh takes from Daniel Avery and Machinedrum, adding experimental weight and texture.
The Miami thread runs deep. ‘Silver Box’, co-produced with Nick León and Jonny From Space, anchors the local focus. Jonny’s Crespi Drum Syndicate (with Pablo Arrongoiz) channels a darker percussive energy, echoed by Coffintexts, Greg Beato, and Roiju.
Elsewhere, Nadia Struiwigh (Amsterdam) and Paurro (Mexico City) offer atmospheric contrast, while Reptant, Tim Reaper, and Tristan Arp span from downtempo to breakneck 160 BPM. Black Rave Culture and Dengue Dengue Dengue complete the LP’s wide-ranging scope.
Ahead of the full release, the label has shared the first remix by Tim Reaper. Listen below and pre-order ‘::BLUE:: [REMIXES]’ here.
