Danny Tenaglia just released the final installment of his Global Underground trilogy, GU45: Brooklyn, which follows the success of GU10: Athens (1999) and GU17: London (2000). This mixed compilation is highly anticipated as it marks a return to his hometown of Brooklyn and is expected to be the conclusion to his label’s trilogy.
GU45: Brooklyn pays tribute to Danny Tenaglia’s roots in the ever-evolving nightlife of the New York district. This mix features 42 tracks, including Danny Tenaglia’s upcoming single with Cevin Fisher ‘Move That Body’, as well as a diverse selection of tracks from artists like Moderat, Monika Kruse with Pig&Dan, Dino Lenny, Radio Slave, and Basement Jaxx, all expertly mixed by Brooklyn’s finest DJ.
“I am delighted to announce my third compilation for the iconic Global Underground series. First, it was Athens GU10, then London GU17, and now we are bringing it to my hometown of Brooklyn, giving you GU45. As a native of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, this compilation is not only a celebration of my roots but also a tribute to the dynamic and ever-evolving nightlife that ignited and guided my musical career back in 1975,” Tenaglia stated.
The release is now available in various formats including CD, vinyl, download, streaming, and a special Collector’s Edition that includes a photography book, vinyl, CD, tote bag, 4 x art prints, and 4 x postcards.
