The Deep Site Vinylized label just announced the release of the 8th installment of their limited edition 12″ series entitled ‘The Art Of Deep.’ This release features a collaboration between German producer Frankman and Catalan artist Alex V.
Frankman, a key player in Leipzig’s deep house scene since the early 90s, co-founded ‘FM Musik’ in 1998. He has gained recognition from labels like Dessous and Cocoon, establishing himself as a respected figure in the industry. Also, Alex V is known for his intricate production style, founded Sophisticate Recordings in 2008.
Pressed onto high-quality vinyl, ‘The Art Of Deep’ showcases four tracks of deep house music. On the A-side, Alex V’s ‘Impulse’ opens proceedings with its pristine and warm mid-tempo groove, accompanied by soaring synth pads. Frankman presents ‘Lonely Move,’ a captivating track that takes the listener on a sonic journey. Transitioning to the B-side, Frankman offers ‘Nothing But Darkness,’ a moodier and introspective track featuring soul-stirring synth chimes. Closing out the EP is Alex V’s ‘Aura,’ a dreamy melodic techno composition that evokes imagery of a soft-focus 80s movie dream sequence. Its ethereal atmosphere and intricate arrangement make it the perfect track to conclude this release.
