Digitalism have announced their new album ‘Optimism’, set for release on May 29th, 2026. Alongside the news, the duo has shared the lead single ‘Space Invaders’, which is now available to stream and download.
The new record marks the duo’s latest full-length project, with ‘Space Invaders’ offering a first look into its direction. According to Digitalism, the album was shaped during the winter months, with a focus on color, melody, and contrast. “In search of a better place, on an expedition, guided by our studio, we found it in a firework of colours, chords and melodies,” they explain.
‘Optimism’ will feature 12 tracks, including ‘Double Jam’, ‘Planet Rhythm’, ‘House Alarm’, and ‘City Of Love’. The project continues their long-running output, building on a catalog that spans from their debut ‘Idealism’ through to more recent releases.
In parallel, Digitalism have also announced a UK and European tour for 2026. Dates include stops in Manchester, London, Paris, Berlin, and Amsterdam, with their London show scheduled for October 10th at EartH Hackney.
