Dinkis has released his latest studio album, ‘Necessary Love,’ via his Wout Records imprint. The project marks a significant addition to the producer’s discography, featuring twelve original tracks.
‘Necessary Love’ is structured as a continuous narrative, moving through various emotional states without traditional track boundaries. It explores themes of human connection, digital mediation, and transformation, translating these concepts into a cohesive electronic format.
Musically, the record balances rhythmic electronic pulses with ambient, tension-filled interludes. Tracks such as ‘New Artificial Touch’ and ‘System Reset Protocol’ lean into mechanical, synthesized textures, while pieces like ‘Mia Luna’ and ‘Oltre Mare’ focus on melodic arrangements and atmosphere.
Dinkis, the alias of Italian artist Gabriele Mineo, is known for his atmospheric approach to techno and minimal electronics. Through Wout Records and Wout Publishing, he has established a reputation for conceptual releases that prioritize emotional depth over dancefloor utility.
