Disclosure has joined forces with emerging British-Gambian artist Pa Salieu on their latest single, ‘King Steps,’ which blends UK garage and hip-hop elements. It was released through Disorder/Capitol Records.
The track showcases Disclosure’s masterful production through layers of rapid beats, synth arrangements, and mesmerizing grooves. Pa Salieu’s powerful presence and vocal style bring a fresh perspective to the duo’s characteristic sound.
The song made its live debut at Manchester’s Warehouse Project, where Pa Salieu performed alongside Disclosure. The studio recording captures that same dynamic energy while highlighting each artist’s strengths.
“We’re excited to continue showcasing the darker, harder side of our sound with ‘King Steps,’” explains Guy Howard of Disclosure. “UK Garage has always been a core influence in our music, and it’s incredible to see its impact growing so much over the past year. Collaborating with Pa Salieu—who’s delivering some of the best music coming out of the UK right now—makes it the perfect time to release this track.”
