Disco + Design is set to return for its second edition at Miami Art Week, running from Thursday, December 4th through Saturday, December 6th, 2025, with a new home at BeyBey in Miami Beach. The event explores disco’s ongoing influence on design, sound, and creative culture through a series of intimate listening sessions, panel talks, and a curated installation.
Hosted inside BeyBey’s hidden 440-square-foot gallery space, Disco + Design 2025 transforms the venue into a 1970s-style listening den, spotlighting collectible furniture, hi-fi audio systems, and lighting from designers including UMA Objects, Soon Atelier, Furn Object, Rich Aybar, Ninefrtn, and Arrived Aliens. The diorama-style installation is curated by founder Michelle Leshem, co-founder Sam Baum, and interior designer Michael Dolatowski.
Attendees can explore a soundscape spanning classic, obscure, and contemporary disco, selected to reflect the cultural origins of the design pieces on view. The event will also feature work by AI filmmaker and animator Tom Laroc, with all pieces available for purchase or collection.
Disco + Design’s cultural program includes two daily series: The Listening Salon and Culture Talks. Mia Moretti opens the Listening Salon on Thursday with a vinyl session and preview of her single ‘Safe With Me’, moderated by Jaime Sloane. On Friday, Danny Daze hosts a personal session moderated by Troy Kurtz, followed by a Culture Talk on hi-fi evolution featuring Eric Gould (Soundlux Audio), JPORT (Shelter Audio), and Dan Saroussi (Soon Atelier), moderated by Sam Baum.
Saturday’s programming concludes with ‘STILL SPINNIN’: The Lasting Imprint of 70s Design + Sound’, a panel moderated by Brittany Berger and featuring Soul Clap, Michelle Leshem, Michael Dolotowski, and Kat Bein of SPIN Magazine. A private closing soirée from 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM will feature Soul Clap and Michelle Leshem.
“Disco + Design is our way of showing how music and design are connected,” said founder Michelle Leshem. “The 70s gave us iconic sounds and iconic furniture, and both still inspire what we listen to and what we put in our homes today.”
