Disco Halal marks its tenth anniversary with the release of a new retrospective compilation, ‘THE FIRST TEN YEARS VOL. 1.’ Curated by label founder Moscoman, the collection captures the imprint’s evolution over a decade of cross-cultural connection and genre-defying dance music.

‘THE FIRST TEN YEARS VOL. 1’ compiles original tracks, edits, and remixes that trace Disco Halal’s journey from underground favorite to genre-defining force. As Moscoman writes in the release notes, the label remains “a celebration of a world without frontiers… the cosmic vibration of forever unity.”

The tracklist includes contributions from Polocorp, Wallace, Moscoman, Joseph Ashworth, Simple Symmetry, Zakir, Time To Sleep, SX2, Andy Phelan, and Tunnelvisions.

Since launching in 2015, Disco Halal has carved out a singular space in the indie dance and leftfield electronic landscape. Rooted in Middle Eastern rhythms and shaped by European influences, the label’s sound has echoed from Tel Aviv to Berlin, helping redefine the contours of modern club culture. Moscoman explains: Disco Halal was for people that didn’t have a room to speak yet — and now they do.”

In addition to the compilation, the 10-year celebration will include archival releases, special editions, and curated performances around the globe.
