Discos Nutabe has launched its first digital release, ‘DCM, Dijon Triathlon, Vandel, ELO & Lunate – Discos Nutabe: Catalogue 2013 – 2020.’ This collection serves as both a retrospective of the label’s history and a preview of its future direction.

One of the label’s artists explains, “This is the digital re-release of a vinyl-only catalogue from the past decade, representing the sound of Colombian house. As an independent label created entirely in Medellín, this quintuple re-release marks the beginning of a new era where albums will be distributed on both vinyl and digital platforms.”

Since 2013, Discos Nutabe, a Medellín-based electronic music label, has been reshaping Colombia’s house scene. It showcases house music’s universal appeal while honoring local influences.

The label launched with the ‘Medellín trilogy,’ featuring three artists: DCM’s ‘Orígenes’ (2014), which blends New York deep house with Chicago jack; Dijon Triathlon’s ‘Pandemia’ (2015), influenced by ’90s German house and minimal funk; and Vandel’s introspective ‘Inundación’ (2016).

After 2017, Discos Nutabe expanded its reach by collaborating with Bogotá artists. Notable releases include ‘Visitante’ (2018), which merges house and techno, and Lunate’s ‘Niebla’ (2019), a techno-infused homage to Bogotá.
