The VR space was created by the Swiss Art Museum.
Next Wednesday, April 7th, will see the German DJ Dixon star in alignment with his Transmoderna project for a special livestream in collaboration with the Beyeler Foundation and the Nordstern club in Basel, located in Switzerland.
This will be a first for Dixon, as he will be present in the form of a hyper-realistic avatar that will be located in a 3D environment of a virtual space created by the respected Swiss Art Museum, showcasing some of the works from the collection of the artists’ foundation like Paul Klee, Auguste Rodin, or Wolfgang Tillmans.
The digital environment has been designed by the creative team of Transmoderna, the brand launched three years ago by Dixon and with which he maintained a weekly residency in Pacha Ibiza. Among those who have participated are the artists Sofia Crespo, Sabrina Ratté, Feileacan McCormick, and Aaron Jablonski.
Throughout the broadcast, the building’s artwork and architecture will be interpolated with AI-based particle and visual effects in sync with the music.
You can tune in to Dixon’s 3D DJ set on April 7th at 20:00 CET here.
