On June 1st, DJ Bone’s FURTHER Records will launch a bold release drop of six new projects, marking a series of milestones for the Detroit legend.
The highlight of the collection is DJ Bone’s new album, ‘DJ Bone XXXV: The End of Never’, alongside ‘Subject Detroit 30th Anniversary Remixes Vol. 1’, Doc Ciroc’s ‘Living Life’ single, Azucy’s ‘Deep Like the Sea’ EP, Yeti Mind Tricks’ ‘Wannabe Gangsters’ EP, and Serge Jansen’s ‘Trust Me’ EP.
This six-release project celebrates thirty years of the influential Subject Detroit label, the fifth anniversary of FURTHER’s Amsterdam club night, DJ Bone’s own 35-year career in music, and his 55th birthday. Featuring remixes from Mark Williams, DJ Bone, Azucy, Jack Fresia, Mark Broom, Tälor, Vinicius Honorio, and Marco Bailey, the releases underscore DJ Bone’s ethos of forging his own path.
“Doing things differently has always been a badge of honour for me. Choosing your own path, surprising people…this is what techno used to be all about. We’re releasing all of these together in the hope of reigniting that sense of “what will he do next?”. Of course, each release is amazing on its own, but together, FURTHER is even stronger. Expect more unforeseen things,” DJ Bone shared.
