Detroit Techno pioneer DJ Bone has just unveiled his first track in almost four years with the release of ‘Fulmination’. The new drop is taken from the artist’s forthcoming ‘Black Market’ EP and is already available to stream and purchase via fabric Originals.
A masterclass in layering from the Detroit veteran, ‘Fulmination’ showcases complex rhythmic patterns that seamlessly sway in and out, intertwining with horns, ominous choir sounds, and harshly chopped vocals for a blistering outing that overrides the senses.
A four-track project to be released on vinyl and digital on October 21st, DJ Bone’s ‘Black Market’ EP serves its purpose of “paying tribute to the classic sound of Detroit while pushing things forward without compromise.”
