In a heartfelt homage to Holger Biege, a pivotal figure in East German soul, DJ Koze, Arnim Teutoburg-Weiß, and the Düsseldorf Düsterboys have released a new track titled ‘Wie Schön Du Bist.’
The song draws inspiration from Biege’s 1978 classic ‘Bleib doch,’ incorporating the evocative line, “Du hast erzählt, gelacht / Mir gezeigt, wie schön du bist,” merging nostalgic elements with contemporary soundscapes.
Arnim Teutoburg-Weiß, known for his work with Beatsteaks, lends his resonant voice to the track, delivering a sincere declaration of enduring love. The Düsseldorf Düsterboys enrich the composition with their harmonious vocals, adding a layer of lyrical depth.
