DJ Minx, Detroit’s First Lady of Wax, is celebrating the 20th anniversary of her seminal anthem ‘A Walk In The Park’ with a series of special remixes from guests close to the artist. The new package was commissioned by Factory 93 Record and led by Carl Craig and Seth Troxler.
Originally released in 2004, DJ Minx’s ‘A Walk In The Park’ is considered one of the most impactful minimal cuts. Now, the track has been re-edited by DJ Minx and remixed by Soul Clap, Ardalan, Seth Troxler, and Carl Craig.
“My career has evolved so much in the twenty years since the release of ‘A Walk in the Park’, it’s nostalgic to look back on it all. The fact that it took such a short time to create such a dynamic sound, still creates a glow inside me to this day. Not a single year has passed since its release that someone has not spoken of the track or thanked me for being the producer. This remix compilation features a culmination of producers who have grown into dear friends and have been incredibly supportive of me throughout the years. I am extremely excited to have them put a fresh perspective on a track that means so much to me,” said DJ Minx about the landmark.
