The cause of death is unknown.
Different sources have confirmed that Marcus Intalex aka Trevino has passed away on past weekend. He had scheduled a show on Sunday at London’s The Pickle Factory with his Soul:ution parties.
The artist – real name Marcus Kaye – was born in Manchester and gain recognition through drum & bass Britain movement. With his Marcus Intalex pseudonym, he became one of the biggest names in the genre due to his skills to mix fast-paced tracks with ‘soul’ sounds. He owned his own label, Soul:r, working with notable names like Calibre and S.P.Y.
Durig his last years he moved into house and techno sounds producing as Trevino, and releasing one album entitled ‘Front’ on his own label, Birdie. He also released music on other imprints like Klockworks, Hotfush, Aus Music and The Nothing Special.
