The artist plays with the textures of some of his previously released tracks.
In turbulent times, Bass Culture boss D’Julz decided to transform several of his songs into ambient music, ideal for listening at home. The result has been recorded on a moving 10-track album titled ‘Silent Drums’.
As the name indicates, the French artist silenced the drums on each one. This way, he achieved a total transformation that allowed him to explore moments of intensity, serenity, contemplation, joy, mystery. Now each cut has an identity and purpose that aligns very well with today’s mood.
