It’s the third outing by the label.
Following up on the releases of Eric Lune’s ‘Desire’ and Elliott Creed’s ‘Silence of a Full Room’, Australian imprint Flow Music now presents its third release with the drop of Dole & Kom’s new EP, ‘Ties’. The record is now available to stream and purchase across all digital platforms.
‘Aming’ opens the release with a Tale Of Us-style groove that blends stripped-back percussion with throbbing sub-bass and ample space for the cosmic synth lines to flow through the middle while vocal phrases add organic texture. Track two, ‘Ophus’, is built on a similar vibe while showcasing darker textures, focusing on building dramatic suspense as it unfolds with interstellar pads and driving percussion. ‘Ties’ is the last of the three original tracks, and it’s the deepest cut, featuring a more laid-back vibe with softer textures and sparse percussion built around a solid kick drum.
The package is rounded off by a remix from Australian artist Uone, who flips ‘Ties’ with the help of a psychedelic vocal sample that he expertly combines with a trippy piano loop to transform the track.
