Dori Sadovnik, one half of the duo Red Axes, has introduced his new solo project, KAPITAN, and simultaneously launched a fresh record label, SADO Records.
SADO Records emerges as a platform for KAPITAN to explore his most audacious techno fantasies. Known for his work in crafting captivating soundtracks with Red Axes, he now steps beyond the band’s boundaries to pursue a darker, more intense sound.
The label’s second release, ‘Episode.02’, offers a glimpse into KAPITAN’s new sonic territory. The opening track, ‘The Green Lake’, immerses listeners in a hypnotic blend of resonant sirens, steady rhythms, and chirpy melodies. The journey continues with ‘Frogs’, a track that bounces with infectious energy, before diving into the psychedelic depths of ‘Bagagoo’. The EP concludes with two meticulously crafted percussive pieces, ‘To Hot’ and ‘Voice’.
