Drumcode Records unveils the thirteenth edition of its A-Sides compilation series, featuring 18 selected techno tracks.
Label founder Adam Beyer opens with ‘Life Is’, a track that blends processed vocals with organic elements, building tension through industrial textures and progressive rhythms.
Tokyo-based duo Drunken Kong delivers ‘Dance All Night,’ following their 2023 EP and collaboration with Bart Skils. The cut features powerful beats and an infectious vocal hook. Techno veteran Nicole Moudaber contributes ‘It’s Just A Dream,’ weaving breakbeat elements and industrial accents into an immersive dystopian atmosphere, balanced by ethereal choral elements.
The compilation welcomes fresh talent to the Drumcode family. VE/RA debuts with the hypnotic ‘Can’t Get Enough,’ while Marie Vaunt teams up with French electronic pioneer Popof on the compelling ‘Acid Cult.’ UK duo Dense & Pika return with ‘Deep Down Low,’ delivering their signature sound through powerful, minimalist arrangements.
