Duncan Forbes is back on his own 49North label with its 3rd release since its conception. Titled ‘49North EP 1’, the new record is already available to stream across all major digital platforms and has received major support, including names such as Fort Romeau, DJ Koze, Secret Cinema, Kölsch, Mano LeTough, and many more.
The newly released ‘49North EP 1’ finds Forbes dropping the lush ‘Bluer Than Blue’, a wonky and warm slice of electro house, and ‘The Next Step’, which is a sublime breakbeat cut underpinned by a powerful, slithering bassline. On the flip side, UK house & techno don Mr. G and Pépe (one of the underground’s most in-demand artists at the moment) reimagine both tracks with flair and expertise behind the studio.
