The release follows up on the 2019 smash ‘Can’t Stop’.
British producer/DJ Eagles & Butterflies makes a highly anticipated return to his own Art Imitating Life imprint this week. with a stellar new EP.
The release is led by vibrant vocal cut ‘Rebel’, a collaboration with singer and multi-instrumentalist Shey Baba. The track fuses cascading synths and resonant percussion, whilst a stirring lyrical solo from Shey Baba pulls deeply on the heartstrings.
Closing the EP is ‘Gone’, which showcases the more traditional style of Eagles & Butterflies’ production technique, moving chords reside atop a punchy one-two bassline, as hard-hitting snare patterns march on in the background. The EP kicks off a standout 2021 for Art Imitating Life, with a host of new releases on the way from the label later this year.
