Eastern Standard marks a new chapter in its catalog with ‘Cos I Said So’, a two-part various artists release out now via Moodmusic. The project brings together emerging talent and established names across eight tracks per volume, blending raw house textures with contemporary club functionality.

More than a standard compilation, ‘Cos I Said So’ captures the evolving narrative of the Eastern Standard imprint — a sonic document shaped by travel, club testing, and spontaneous collaborations. Each track channels the grit of oldschool heritage while leaning into sharp, modern forms, offering tools shaped for the dance floor.

Part One features Vilusic, Sonson, Michael Ritter, Felix E, Hamoon, Nima Sarshar, 88 Dubs, and Reset. Part Two includes Grant (NYC), Modelers, Predex, Amadori, C.Vogt, Sofian, Bouzidi, and Lefty D. Together, they form a versatile toolkit for selectors navigating between tension, groove, and release.
