Echonomist has announced his upcoming album ‘Secret Places’, set for release on Innervisions.
The album marks a new era of musicality for the Greek producer who has often explored the fringes of electronic pop in his productions. The LP is a gateway to a synth-driven fantasyland, with the title track serving as the first taste of what’s to come.
Echonomist also shared the first single entitled ‘Secret Places’ which features the distinctive falsetto vocals of Alexandros Miaris, frontman of London group Electric Litany, and the touch of electronic production trio Avangart Tabldot. He first came across Miaris’s striking vocals almost 15 years ago in London and has been eager to collaborate with him ever since. “I immediately fell in love with his voice since then and I always wanted to collaborate with him and connect our music worlds. Every track I did with him felt like a ceremony,” he said. “Each time he sent me something new, I felt like the skies had opened and his voice was the vehicle to connect with something divine.”
