This is the first single from his next album, which will be the successor to ‘Moments Of Clarity’, released in 2018.

Eelke Kleijn is working on the release of his fourth long-player which will be available in the second half of the year. At the moment, the Dutch artist released a preview of his new sounds; it is ‘The Magician’, a cut that is already on sale through his label DAYS like NIGHTS.

In this first slice of his new record, in which the bass line is the protagonist, Kleijn effortlessly combines the sounds of the club with the melodic weight necessary for listening at home.

‘In a lot of my songs, I usually start with an idea and then add all kinds of small things, and the concept grows like that. In ‘The Magician’, it was very different. I started out with the idea of using my modular for Sample & Hold filter modulation. It’s a well-known trick from some of the classics, think Depeche Mode or Kraftwerk. From that the rest came naturally’, said the producer.

Eelke Kleijn‘s fourth studio album will be out on September 25th. For the moment, you can purchase ‘The Magician’and listen to the track below.
