Slow Nomaden is the side project of Tobias Kroschel, the head behind Sound Nomaden, focused on organic house and downtempo. In his DJ Sets and productions, he takes the listeners on an electronic journey through the sounds of different cultures and spheres.
Already, his first EP ‘Jungle’, released on 3000Grad Records in late 2017, got huge support from within the global tastemaker scene. In 2018, Slow Nomaden released ‘Gondwana’ on Nu Boheme Recordings, which was received even better and has more than 500.000 plays on Spotify to date. His next EPs, ‘Elephant Dream’ and ‘Vasudeva’, both entered the Beatport Top 100 Releases in their genres of Afro house and electronica/downtempo.
‘Vasudeva’ has now already reached more than 2.000.000 plays on Spotify. In 2019, Slow Nomaden released his well-received first full-length album ‘Journey’. In 2023, he released his second full-length album ‘Boho’, containing a bunch of his latest singles and a new title track to bring us an unconventional soundtrack for the digital nomads and freethinkers of the 21st century.
Today, Slow Nomaden tracks and remixes have been released on labels like HMWL, trndmsk, Shango, Wayu, Baikal Nomads, Harabe, Sirin, Cafe de Anatolia, and his own imprint, Nu Boheme Recordings. His tracks appeared on multiple editorial Playlists on Spotify (Orgánica, Yoga Electronica, Afterhours, Tantra, mosaic). Tobias has been constantly producing and touring since 15 years on an international level and has performed on several renowned festivals including Fusion Festival (GER), Rainbow Serpent (AUS), Boomtown (UK), Woomoon Ibiza (ESP), and 3000 Grad Festival (GER). He has played in clubs in Berlin, Paris, London, Ibiza, Zurich, Copenhagen, Munich, Vienna, Melbourne, Geneva, Hamburg, and many more.
