Hailing from Douglasdale, Johannesburg, South Africa DJ/Producer Vanco has long been cementing his name as an Afro-tech pioneer, blending electronic and diasporic club sounds.
Blending big-room afro-techno and melodic house and techno, with sounds of the African diaspora, Vanco has graced DJ booths in iconic venues across the world, Ministry Of Sound, London, Ultra Music Festival, Johannesburg, Blue Marlin, Ibiza, and beyond. Following his previous singles ‘XELE’ and ‘Desire’ with Eva Simons, ‘Breathe’ EP, ‘Motherland’ EP, ‘Reflections’ EP, and a recent, huge remix ‘Bailar Contigo’ for Black Eyed Peas and Daddy Yankee, ‘HOYA’ is just a taste of what’s to come from Vanco, with an anticipated forthcoming project due for release later this summer.
