Brazilian hard techno and psytrance force Acid Asian steps in for EG TECHNO.140 with a powerful mix celebrating his new EP Let’s Go on KNTXT. Out now on Charlotte de Witte’s imprint, the five-track release marks his fourth on the label in just three years.
Charlotte says: “Acid Asian’s upcoming EP has everything. It’s fast paced, raw, and made for the dancefloor. These tracks have been tearing up clubs and festivals all summer, and I’m so proud to continue supporting his journey on KNTXT. Watching him grow as an artist has been a pleasure, and I can’t wait for you all to experience the energy he brings with these five masterful tracks.”
Her support has been consistent, with Acid Asian playing KNTXT shows in Sao Paulo, Amsterdam, and Manchester, and closing her Tomorrowland Brazil set with one of his tracks. He also made his Tomorrowland Belgium debut this summer, alongside appearances in Japan, India, Chile, Romania, and Germany.
About the release, Acid Asian explains: “I’m really happy to be back on KNTXT. This EP has a more psytechno vibe compared to my other KNTXT EPs.” Known for merging acid elements with percussion inspired by Japanese taiko, his work draws from psytrance, techno, and rap. Two tracks feature fellow Brazilian live act WAIO, one of the country’s leading psytrance producers.
