EGR’s underground resistance returns to the frontlines with a fresh installment of the Revelations series, a three-track statement from label regulars Freedo Mosho, Futura City, Moss, Prototype, and Maximo Gambini.
The opening cut sees Freedo Mosho and Futura City rework Maximo Gambini’s “1996,” steering it into progressive territory with sharp low-end strikes and surging synth textures, built for playful late-night mischief.
Prototype follows with “Terraformation,” a shifting mirage where storm-like rumbles roll beneath crisp hi-hats, while drifting melodies appear and dissolve to trace hypnotic, narcotic patterns.
Closing the suite, Freedo Mosho and Futura City join Moss for a deeper excursion. Set on a pulsing groove, they guide us through hazy corridors colored by lush chords and glowing atmospheres, a track that comes alive at dusk.
