Electronic Groove and Listed will join forces on the Amsterdam Dance Event 2025 for a special charity night dedicated to children affected by the crisis in Gaza.
Taking place on Thursday, October 23rd at Duke of Tokyo in Amsterdam, the event will donate 100% of ticket and bar proceeds to UNICEF’s emergency programs, supporting shelter, safe water, and emotional care for displaced children.
For the special occasion, the event will feature a group of well-known artists and friends led by Robag Wruhme, known for his experimental output on labels like Kompakt and Pampa, followed by Anja Schneider, founder of Sous Records, who will close the night with a set shaped by decades of dancefloor influence. Supporting them will be Hamburg’s Florian Kruse, with his emotive DJ style and intricate productions; San Francisco’s Galen, founder of Sunset Sound System and a key figure in the West Coast underground; Brooklyn-based Saqib, known for genre-blending sets and releases on Sol Selectas, Abracadabra, and Beats On Time; and Toronto’s Jenner, a rising name with recent releases on Katermukke and her own imprint, Darkest Hour Records.
“Amsterdam Dance Event shows the power our community holds when it rallies around one goal,” said EG founder Mauricio Viana. “On October 23, we will turn the joy of the dance floor into life-changing support for children who face danger every day.”
Gunita, founder of Listed, added: “Listed believes shared moments in music can spark real change. Partnering with Electronic Groove and Duke of Tokyo allows us to transform our passion into concrete help for UNICEF at a time when young lives depend on it.”
Guests are encouraged to add donations online or contribute at collection points inside the venue. Building on past projects such as the We Give a Jam series, this initiative continues the organizers’ commitment to turning music into action.
