Electronic Groove presents ‘Music Weekend’ Festival

Transmissions will take place on September 11th and 12th.

Since the beginnings of the pandemic, Barcelona’s collective Valhalla Music has solidified its partnership with  Electronic Groove to curate a weekly Livestream show with a wide range of artists from all around the globe. The series titled ‘Isolation’ has showcased artists like Echonomist, Nick Varon, Dmitry Molosh, Jade Rolt, Oscar L, D-Formation, LIZA, to name a few. Now, as we also team up with our partners at Conflux and Bespoke Musik, we are proud to present our first-ever digital festival, ‘Electronic Groove Music Weekend’.

A two-day musical bonanza, the streams will take place on September 11th and 12th via Facebook Live, featuring a series of unique talents including Canada’s Sydney Blu (Katermukke, Desert Hearts); Bespoke Musik’s very own Lauren Ritter (All Day I Dream) and Carlita (Cosmic Awakenings); Conflux’s high-profile Swede Malin Linnéa and Hungarian avant-garde maverick  Dansor (Comport Records); NY-born-Colombia-based DTL Records founder Pao Calderon; Montreal’s Laurence Matte, Barcelona talents Project08, multi-instrumentalist Bodai (owner of Amitabha Records) and Argentine progressive stalwart Jime Ferreyra. They are the selected names for this first installment, with their sets being recorded in Argentina, Spain, Turkey, the Netherlands, Canada, USA, UK, Colombia, and Germany, making an outstanding global effort that exemplifies the possibilities of the times we live in while staying true to our core values at Electronic Groove.

This 10-hour showcase will be divided into 2 days, starting on September, Friday 11, at 12:00 Bogota | 13:00 Miami/New York | 14:00 Buenos Aires | 19:00 Barcelona/Amsterdam/Berlin.
