Eli & Fur have released their first single of 2026, ‘Strange’. The track arrives as the opening preview of their forthcoming EP ‘Dreams At Dusk Pt. II’, scheduled to land on May 29th via PIAS.

With ‘Strange’, Eli & Fur introduce a darker sonic direction. The single trades the pair’s familiar ethereal tone for something more ominous, led by layered synths, haunting melodies, and breathy vocals.

Built around a pulsing rhythm and atmospheric textures, the track moves through shifting emotional tones before reaching a synth-driven crescendo. The result is a groove that balances introspection with forward momentum as the duo begins unveiling the next chapter of the ‘Dreams At Dusk’ project.

Speaking about the track, Eli & Fur explain: “We wrote ‘Strange’ on a piano in a San Rafael Airbnb, just the two of us, in the middle of the Dreams at Dusk West Coast tour. Watching the boats across the harbour as the fog rolled in, the song took shape in a moment where everything felt slightly unsteady but alive. Lyrically, ‘Strange’ explores that feeling of being pulled toward something you don’t fully understand and the tension between wanting to run and wanting to get closer. It’s about questioning what’s real, what’s slipping away, and the thrill of the unknown.”

Made up of Eliza Noble and Jennifer Skillman, Eli & Fur have been collaborating since 2013. Across their catalog, the duo has developed a sound defined by emotive vocals, cinematic synths, and rolling basslines while releasing music on labels including NYX Music, Crosstown Rebels, Anjunadeep, Cercle, and Armada Deep.
