9000 party-goers were in attendance.

Tech-mogul Elon Musk has inaugurated the Berlin Tesla Gigafactory with a massive rave on October 9th, featuring live music, international techno DJs like Boris Brejcha, and an impressive festival-like stage.

Taking on the form of a large carnival, Berlin’s Gigafactory was embellished with powerful lighting rigs, food stands, giant balloon robot figures, arcade games, and even a Ferris wheel. Elon Musk himself had previously quipped that the solar panel dotted rooftop would make for a ‘mega rave cave’.

Tesla’s ‘Technoking’ was in attendance as well, taking the stage for a few moments to talk about the newly inaugurated Gigafactory, the company, and the presentation of their new ‘GigaBier’ alcoholic beverage.

After the event, Boris Brejcha, the man behind the rise of ‘hi-tech-minimal’, shared a few snaps of his journey to the Gigafactory and the experience of meeting Elon. During the exchange, Brejcha gifted one of his traditional harlequin masks to the South African inventor.

Check out some of Boris’ pictures of his time at Tesla’s Gigafatory in Berlin below.
