Argentinian producer and DJ Emi Galván has made his debut on Mango Alley with the new double A-side EP ‘Everlong / Lies’. The release, available now, includes remixes by Ruben Karapetyan and Hermanez.
Known for his evolving, emotive sound, Emi Galván brings a dynamic contrast between the two original tracks. ‘Everlong’ explores the theme of eternal life through layered harmonies and a driving melodic progression, crafted to evoke uplift and expansion. In contrast, ‘Lies’ presents a deeper, more introspective narrative rooted in personal experience, delivering hypnotic grooves with darker rhythmic tension.
Ruben Karapetyan’s remix of ‘Lies’ adds percussive complexity while floating dreamlike synths in and out of focus, building to a pivotal moment near the five-minute mark. Hermanez offers a moodier reinterpretation of ‘Everlong’, transforming the track with a haunting atmosphere that pulls the listener between light and shadow.
