Esto Es Tulum brings in the New Year with one-of-a-kind celebration

The Rivera Maya’s unique natural environment will set the stage for Esto Es Tulum, an event that will take place in the Cenote Casa Tortuga (Turtle Cenote), a stunning water cave located in the Mexican archeological site of Tulum, from December 28^th, 2018 to January 26^th, 2019.

An all-star lineup will be responsible for providing the sonic counterpart to the mysticism of the festival’s surroundings, as top international labels and brands like CircoLoco, Bedrock, Do Not Sit On The Furniture, Last Night on Earth, ANTS, Luciano and Friends and many more, will feature performances by the best DJs and artists behind the decks today, with names like Damian Lazarus, John Digweed, Seth Troxler, Blond:ish, Luciano, Sasha, Steve Lawler, etc.

Esto Es Tulum is a one-of-a-kind event because it brings together sunny, sandy beaches with warm, crystal-clear waters, a lush, green jungle, luxurious accommodation and shopping, top-notch musical performances by the world’s top artists and the ancient ruins and mysticism of the Mayan culture. Cenotes, or water caves, where places that the Mayans linked with the afterworld, so they were at the very center of their beliefs, having extreme importance when it came to the location of their temples and religious ceremonies. All these elements will come together to create a truly unique background for celebrating the end of 2018 and the beginning of 2019, an experience unlike any other anywhere else in the world.

Mexican arts & entertainment production outfit Konyo Factory will design Esto Es Tulum’s stage and festival areas, combining forward-thinking artistic expressions and state-of-the art lighting and sound with sustainable, all-natural materials, creating an integrated space where art, gastronomy, music, and nature all merge with each other to provide a completely enveloping event, one that is sure to mesmerize its expected 7,000 guests.

Esto Es Tulum will see out 2018 and bring in 2019 in its own unique style, one that is sure to remain in the hearts and minds of those lucky enough to experience it. The rare recurrence of the best electronic music and artists in the world with avant-garde, environmentally friendly art, all set in a natural space where one of the world’s most mysterious ancient cultures used to live and worship, comes but a few times in a lifetime, and this festival makes it possible to live it and be a part of it as well.
