fabric recently announced its latest compilation ‘fabric Presents The Streets’, a milestone mix set to release on June 28th, as part of their 25th anniversary celebration.
This compilation, curated by Mike Skinner, is a sonic journey through UK’s vibrant nightlife, merging elements of underground garage, bass music, UK rap, and grime. It embodies fabric’s atmosphere and will be available in signature CD tins.
fabric’s 25-year celebration includes five special ‘fabric presents’ releases, with the first, ‘fabric Presents Shygirl’, launched in March. The Streets’ new single ‘No Better Than Chance’ complements the mix album.
Mike Skinner shares, “When I was asked to do a mix for the anniversary series I couldn’t wait to get on with it. fabric has become one of the homes of bass music and that’s some of the music I’ve been playing out the most. It’s a pleasure to follow in the footsteps of so many incredible DJ’s in the fabric, FABRICLIVE and fabric presents series and be part of their celebration. Here’s to many more decades of hedonism.”
