London’s iconic fabric nightclub is set to honor house music pioneer Frankie Knuckles with a special daytime celebration marking what would have been his 70th birthday and commemorating the 10th anniversary of his passing.
The event, titled ‘For Frankie,’ scheduled for Saturday, January 25th, 2025, launches a series of tribute parties dedicated to the legendary Chicago DJ and producer.
The celebration will be headlined by Eric Kupper, Knuckles’ longtime production collaborator, alongside renowned selector Tedd Patterson from New York City, British dance music veteran CJ Mackintosh, and the talented Marcia Carr. Additional performers include Chrissy T, Danism + Train, Delig, Moplen, Paris Cesvette, Wolf Music, and more special guests to be announced.
In a meaningful gesture that echoes Knuckles’ philanthropic spirit, all event proceeds will support the Frankie Knuckles Foundation. This non-profit organization carries forward the house music legend’s vision by championing causes close to his heart: promoting music education in schools, supporting LGBTQ+ individuals facing homelessness, and advancing research initiatives for diabetes and HIV/AIDS.
