This is the first of planned updates for the streaming platform.
Facebook will soon allow streamers to charge viewers to watch their live streams. Streaming has changed dramatically in the past weeks as the world is on lockdown and clubs and venues remain closed. The platform users will soon be able to set up ‘online-only’ events, allowing visitors to ‘purchase the access’ in advance. Non-profits will be able to add a donate button to their streams.
Another fresh useful feature is the ability to listen to just the audio, and not stream the video, to save data if they just want to listen to the session, for example.
