Fatboy Slim announces 25th anniversary reissue of ‘You’ve Come a Long Way, Baby’

Fatboy Slim recently announced the 25th-anniversary reissue of his iconic album, ‘You’ve Come a Long Way, Baby.’ This highly anticipated release is set to drop on October 13th, 2023 via Astralwerks and features remastered audio quality that was half-speed remastered at the world-renowned Abbey Road Studios.

During its initial release in 1998, ‘You’ve Come a Long Way, Baby’ was a defining record of the 90s, reaching number one in the UK album charts and breaking the US Billboard Top 40. The album had four UK Top 10 singles, including ‘Rockafeller Skank,’ ‘Gangster Trippin,’ ‘Praise You,’ and ‘Right Here Right Now.’ These era-defining singles skyrocketed Fatboy Slim’s career and put UK dance music on the global map.

The album earned Fatboy Slim a BRIT Award for Best Producer and two other nominations, gaining recognition from both rock and pop press. It marked a global breakthrough for British dance music and the Big Beat sound.
