Fatboy Slim is releasing his 500th single, ‘Role Model’, through Southern Fried Records. The single is now available in digital and limited edition vinyl formats.
‘Role Model’, which is his first original music of 2024, features Dan Diamond and Luca Guerrieri. The song showcases Fatboy Slim’s unique style, replete with robust synth-pads, electro motifs, and a robust bassline.
Southern Fried Records, established by Norman Cook, better known as Fatboy Slim, and Garry Blackburn in 1994, has generated hits like Elton John’s ‘Are You Ready For Love’ Remix, and Armand Van Helden’s ‘My My My’. Cook continues to nurture new talent, most recently signing Meg Ward and Sam Girling.
2024 marks a notable year for Southern Fried Records, celebrating 30 years since its inception and hosting events at top UK festivals. In honor of the 25th anniversary of ‘You’ve Come a Long Way, Baby’, Fatboy Slim’s ‘Loves Summer’ tour will take place from June to August across the UK and Ireland.
