Fedele recently unveiled his debut solo album, ‘Depth Of Being,’ via his label, Obscura. This project marks a significant point in his career, demonstrating his musical evolution since leaving Agents Of Time three years ago.
‘Depth of Being’ represents Fedele’s artistic maturation, merging his distinctive sound with experimental aspects. It features rich vocal tracks, engaging breakbeats, and mesmerizing melodic compositions.
The opening track, ‘Departure,’ sets the tone for the LP with its artfully constructed synth soundscape and subtle beats. It transitions into ‘There’s Only One ft. Mickael Karkousse,’ a rhythmically layered track with a relaxed bassline and intriguingly somber vocals. This song is also accompanied by a music video. ‘Your Eyes,’ boasts a dynamic rhythm, opulent melodies, and vocoder-enhanced vocals, resulting in a futuristic ambiance. ‘Waiting For The Night ft. ‘Lvdovica’ combines sleek cosmic arpeggios with captivating vocals. Tracks like ‘Beyond Borders’ and ‘Tangent’ highlight the artist’s skill in the progressive genre. The former layers entrancing chords over meticulously designed grooves, while the latter delivers a punchy techno cut perfect for peak-time play. The record ends with ‘Depth Of Our Love,’ a cut that engulfs listeners in a deep rolling groove.
