New Delhi-based artist Sanil Sudan, also known as FILM, has made his debut on Hammer’s Remmah imprint with the announcement of his EP entitled ‘Miwonowi.’ The full album is scheduled to be released on November 3rd, and the first track, ‘Miwonowi,’ is already available to stream and download.
The EP’s main track, ‘Miwonowi,’ features a percussion sample from a well-known German afro/dub band, which FILM has recontextualized to create a fresh and captivating song.
The EP showcases FILM’s passion for uplifting house music, paying tribute to the vibrant rave culture and endless after-hours. In addition to the three original tracks, the EP includes a remix by DART from the Remmah extended family’s Dublin branch, adding an extra layer of energy to the already infectious beats.
FILM expresses his excitement about the release, stating, “I am extremely happy to release this on Remmah because not only is Rory (Hammer) a great friend who consistently delivers exceptional work, but he also shares the same musical roots in classic house and techno with a unique touch.”
