Named Jackson after Michael Jackson, music has always been part of his life. Inspired by empowering artists like the Spice Girls and Lil’ Kim, he began DJing in London’s queer scene, first managing the guest list and hosting before taking his place behind the decks.

After witnessing Honey Dijon DJ in Berlin in 2018, he shifted his focus from pop to electronic music. Moving to Berlin in 2019, his career paused during the pandemic until apartment livestreams boosted his profile, leading to his first Panorama Bar set post-lockdown.

Now regularly opening for Peggy Gou, fka.m4a commands major venues while honing his production craft. With festival shows ahead, from Melt to Terminal V, fka.m4a has firmly established himself in underground electronic music.

To celebrate his upcoming performance at the newly expanded Home Again Club Festival 2025, fka.m4a shares his top tracks on rotation.

1. Miguel de Bois – Move It

“This is arguably my favourite peak time banger, it’s just 5 minutes of straight energy released by one of my favourite producers, Miguel de Bois, on one of my favourite labels, Ritmo Fatale, by my friend Kendal.”

2. Long Island Sound – Searching

“This one really gets me in the feelings, it’s full of so much emotion and longing for love, which resonates deeply with me, and it’s the kinda music I love the most. This track is the ultimate set closer in my opinion, especially at sunset. I recently closed Tomorrowland Winter and Tomorrowland Brazil with it, and it was beyond breathtaking.”

3. Kyle Starkey – IFTS

“The latest power anthem from my mate, Kyle Starkey! Love the good feelings and happiness this one provides – just pure 90s nostalgia and fun with a modern day twist.”

4. AUTOFLOWER, Di After – Energy

“More dancefloor power from AUTOFLOWER and Di After on Tjade’s label, Argio Tracks! I know that if I need to shake up the energy in the room at any time during a show, this is one of my go-tos – it just makes people smile and feel good.”

5. Dan Newman – Philosophy of House

“The vocal on this one goes crazy, it’s so sexy, playful and groovy. Always feel a little bit cheeky playing this one because she’s talking about how good the current DJ playing is!”

6. Mance – Nighttime Gangsta

“I was born and raised in North West London, so UKG definitely runs deep in my blood. This is one of my favourites and it dropped earlier this year, always goes off hard during my shows and makes me feel like a boss haha.”

7. Leon Vara – Hold On

“This one also packs a powerful emotional punch, reminds me of summer days being in love and nothing else in the world mattering. Beautiful synths and bright melodies, which are a massive DNA of my shows.”

8. Papa Nugs – Penny’s Worth a Passion (Papa Nugs’ Sarah Room Mix)

“One of my set staples currently, just that good hip swaying Proggy House, which I love deeply. The elements on this one blend beautifully and it’s such a journey – I rarely play more than 4 minutes of a track during my shows, but this one I can’t resist playing the full 6-7 minutes!”
