The piece combines live shots and images of sound waves.
British musician, producer, and neuroscientist Sam Shepherd, better known as Floating Points, recently shared the video of his latest single ‘Anasickmodular’. The track is included in his new album entitled ‘Crush’, the first published by the artist in the last four years.
The audiovisual material shows a compilation of his recent Barcelona live rehearsals along with images that follow the sound waves created by Hamill Industries, the team in charge of directing and producing the piece.
“The Floating Points show is based on the visualization of sound through the manipulation of analog technologies. It will combine light, cameras, and visuals activated by sound waves, which in turn are modulated, creating image and sound loops”, they explained.
