It’s the first VA on his Afrikan Tales label.
Berlin/based DJ & producer Floyd Lavine is back on the dancefloors with the drop of ‘The Afrofuturists’. The brand new VA compilation is already available to stream and purchase across major digital platforms via Lavine’s own Afrikan Tales imprint.
‘The Afrofuturists’ features Floyd’s first original solo track of 2022, ‘Vaseline’, while also introducing the works of emerging artists, including Nigerian/Japanese Womb resident Katimi Ai, and rising South African producers Arol $kinzie and ATMokinesis, the latter of who is an alumnus of the non-profit organization Bridges For Music.
