Paul van Dyk celebrates the 30th anniversary of his iconic track ‘For An Angel’ with an exclusive double-vinyl release featuring new remixes, now available on VANDIT Records.

The anniversary edition includes van Dyk’s famed ‘E-Werk Club Mix,’ alongside fresh interpretations from artists like Öwnboss, Julian Jeweil, LOUT, and KOLONIE. Classic remixes from Filo And Peri, Activa, and Miika Kuisma round out this comprehensive tribute. These new remixes span a diverse range of electronic music genres, from house and techno to progressive and trance.

Recognized as one of the greatest dance tracks of all time, ‘For An Angel’ first appeared on van Dyk’s 1994 debut album ’45 RPM.’ It gained iconic status with its 1998 ‘E-Werk Remix,’ named after van Dyk’s residency at Berlin’s E-Werk nightclub.

Reflecting on the track’s enduring legacy, van Dyk says, “It represents an incredible time for dance music and wonderful personal memories. There was this fresh enthusiasm for dance music as it spread worldwide and paved the way for where it is today. The song is as important to me now as it was when I first made it, and it’s a staple in all my sets. The reaction from the fans when the song starts playing brings me so much joy. It’s fun to listen to these excellent remixes and realize how much the song influenced today’s talents.”
