A new documentary chronicling Fred again..’s USB002 tour is now available online. Titled ‘Behind The Sound’, the 20-minute film was created by Mexico-based filmmaker and YouTuber Gawx and follows the tour’s 21 shows across 10 cities, culminating with Fred again..’s performance at Expo Santa Fe in Mexico City on December 12th, 2025.
The documentary captures the days leading up to the Mexico City show, following Fred and his team as they arrive in the city, prepare for the performance, and take to the stage.
Sharing the film on Instagram Stories, Fred again.. praised Gawx’s work, saying he was honored to have the filmmaker document the week spent in Mexico alongside the Latin Mafia collective. He also encouraged fans unfamiliar with Gawx’s work to explore the filmmaker’s projects.
Following the USB002 tour, Fred again.. continued the series with residency shows in New York and London alongside guests including Thomas Bangalter, Skrillex, Four Tet, Floating Points, and more.
