Future Self returns with ‘Throw,’ a new release on Self Control that showcases the producer’s refined sound design and emotional depth.

‘Throw’ is a deep and textured house track that blends cinematic trip-hop influences with a distinctly Bristol edge. At the heart of the track is a haunting vocal from Claire Tchaikowski, recorded with Neil Davidge — best known for producing Massive Attack’s seminal ‘Mezzanine’ era, including the classic ‘Teardrop’.

The release includes a remix package featuring three interpretations from Bristol producers: Forsaken contributes heavy dubstep bass elements, Hanmoto adds dark, atmospheric textures, and Blue Regular introduces unconventional rhythms and sonic layers.

‘Throw’ stands as a love letter to Bristol’s deep musical lineage, connecting past and future through a club-ready yet introspective release.
