With a new VA compilation.
Namata Records emerged in September last year through its founder Gabriel Evoke to nature his skills and foster electronic music in Brazil. To celebrate its first year, the label now shared a commemorative VA compilation.
According to Evoke, learning and searching for information has been a daily job to improve his management of the label. ‘The challenge and responsibility are big, as I work with third-party projects, which also require care. So far, there have been 12 releases featuring 28 national and international artists. Namata has been receiving good support from Beatport and gaining more and more prominence within the platform, in addition to reaching good positions in the sales charts, are featuring on editorial playlists by Spotify. The public has also shown great affection for our label’.
With 11 tracks, the compilation brings together big names in the Brazilian electronic music scene, balancing between deep and minimal house acts, featuring Alex Gomez, Aninha, DEDS, Fran Bortolossi, Gabriel Evoke, Gabss, John Deluxe & Schlafmutze, Leo Janeiro, Lui Danzi, Seed Selector, and Stanccione.
‘Today, with more experience as label head, I seek to expand the reach of our brand, increase the connection with artists around the globe, and position Namata as a Brazilian powerhouse on the world circuit’, concludes Evoke.
