Gerd Janson’s Running Back imprint is back on the scene with a new compilation celebrating Frankfurt’s iconic Wild Pitch Club party. ‘Running Back Mastermix: Wild Pitch Club by Ata & nd_baumecker’ is already available to stream and purchase via the label’s own Bandcamp page.
The new compilation spans over 26 tracks that capture the spirit of the ’90s club night (in both mixed and unmixed formats), and features music by Kings Of Tomorrow, Deep 6, Da Rebels, Iz & Diz, Ralph Falcon, Free Energy, KGB, and many more.
Held at Nachtleben-Club on Thursdays, Wild Pitch Club was founded in the ’90s by Ata and the late Heiko MSO, and it was considered the first club night in Frankfurt for deep house, having hosted performances by Robert Hood, Kerri Chandler, Claude Young, and more.
