He has died at 52 years of age due to advanced cancer.
Originally from Bad Nauheim and Greek roots, Pascal Dardoufas better known as Pascal F.E.O.S dedicated his entire life to electronic dance music, having been a pioneer of the Frankfurt scene. He began his career as a DJ back in 1984 and became a regular at the booths of mythical clubs of the German nightlife including Dorian Gray, Omen, or U60311. In addition, in the early 90s, he managed to become something of a trance icon with his Resistance D project, created together with Maik Maurice Diehl.
Alone, he would go on to release more than six albums and cornerstone singles that made him one of the great figures of German techno since the mid-90s, also remixing prominent names like Jean Michel Jarre, Sven Väth and Laurent Garnier. His last works had seen the light on his own label, Level Non Zero, and others like Tronic or Bedrock, just to name a few.
‘Pascal was a true techno pioneer and influential producer behind the legendary projects Resistance D, Sonic Infusion, and Aural Float. But, most importantly, a cool guy who was always friendly and outgoing. We will miss you’, remembered Oliver Huntemann.
